You must register with the Dallas or Polk County Election Office in order to vote in elections. Residents living west of NW 142nd Street vote in Dallas County, and residents east of NW 142nd Street vote in Polk County. Further information about registering can be obtained by calling the election offices of Dallas County at (515) 993-4751 or Polk County at (515) 286-3247.
