Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers, Inc.

Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers, Inc. (IAF) is a non-profit social and educational group dedicated to supporting local atheists, freethinkers, secular humanists, agnostics, and other non-religious people. IAF is a warm and welcoming community of humanists, atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, and non-theists of all types. The group aims to enrich the lives of any who join us through explorations in science, philosophy, history, and the arts.

Our goals are to:

• Share our non-religious view of the world with the community by participating in various local events

• Be more educated on religious issues ourselves

• Provide its members with ample opportunity to meet like-minded people, socialize, network, and make friends.

• Normalize atheism in the minds of the people in our communities by engaging in community service projects.

We are affiliated with a number of national and international groups devoted to atheism, freethought, or secular humanism.
